    Description: Adipic acid is a white crystalline solid/crystalline granule, and its odour has not been characterised. It is stable and incompatible with ammonia and strong oxidising agents. It may form combustible dust concentrations in air. The likely routes of exposure to workers are by skin contact and inhalation at workplaces. It is used in the manufacture of nylon, plasticisers, urethanes, adhesives, and food additives.
